| Very nice tulip shot, but this doesn't say dispair to me at all. Great details, as a flower shot, this is top notch! There may be some sort of cultural reference that I'm not getting, but challenge wise - no. 6 Swash |

| While this is a lovely photograph, I don't see how it depicts DESPAIR. Would have done much better in an appropriately-named challenge. |

| I really like the composition of this image, the angles and the crop appeal to me. Well done. Does a white rose mean despair? Maybe in your country I am not sure so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Good one. |

| The crop/composition is good, as is the lighting. However, the flower doesnt appear to be visibly dying, and I dont really see any despair in the image. |
