 Shot this on my flight from San Francisco to Atlanta. Image straight out of the camera is characteristically flat. The post processing in PS that went into this photo is as follows:

- Auto Levels
- Crop
- Resize
- Hue/Saturation (Adjusted hue master channel, and fine tweaks to individual color bands)
- Curves
- Brightness and Contrast
- Highlights and Shadows
- Photo Filter: Violet
- USM 30%, 60 radius, 0 levels
- USM 80%, 0.3 radius, 2 levels
- Neat Image for slight noise reduction
- Border
- Save for Web

wow. can't figure out what those black clumps are in the bottom right (dark clouds? not sure), or why it's sort of blurred at the left - but that doesn't bother me too much - excellent image.

Great shot, but the wind isn't too clear... if there were a snowy cap being blown off one of the mountains, I think it would meet the challenge much better.

I like the perspective of the shot and the fact that it seems so vast. It has good color and sharpness. It's unusual enough to be interesting and hold attention. If I was going to nitpick anything it would be the slightly brown cloud on the left being a slight distraction, possibly because it stands out as different from the rest of the clouds. I'm also not sure I would instantly think wind just by looking at this image but I'm not saying that it doesnt represent it in some way.
