 this challenge was announced and there was no way i was going to enter it .. then i took a screenshot talking to my grandson on a video chat .. decided to enter it in an effort to get over myself .. ie. i'm a very critical of my appearance etc .. but sc said the screenshot didnt qualify because of time discrepancies or something ..

that was it .. i wasnt going to enter the challenge ..

then i thought why not try and get something with me and tod .. because he is very much a part of me .. and that was after googling to find out if its still a self portrait when there's a pet in the photo with you .. it was definitely yes ..

tried putting the camera on a tripod and connecting to the phone .. hated all of the photos ..

then last resort doing selfie with my phone ... tod isnt one of those dogs who loves sitting on your lap for any length of time .. so i've literally got to hold him .. which is very difficult because of my hands ..

the title is 'Parts of Me' because tod is definitely a part of me .. but so are my hands that are like a war zone .. with battles and injuries every day .. so i am very limited in what i can do with them .. i wont go into detail but its extremely challenging to live a normal life ..

hoping i dont get lots of 3's or 4's like i do with many of my photos .. i would be inclined to take it personally .. !! .. lol ..;)
