"left it because you didnt think it would do well anyway" .. !! .. ;)
i had to laugh .. as this was an absolute fav in the challenge for me .. along with Anita's with her indomitable style .. lol ..

and i totally know the feeling .. should i .. or shouldnt i .. trying this and trying that .. and then sometimes even more confused .. second guessing .. what i even like and then what the voters would like .. aghhhh ..

a couple things i do if i've got time is .. go away for a while .. and come back with fresh eyes .. thats often when i get that gut feeling ... i think than when we're so immersed the gut feeling is smothered by the noise of our minds ..
also i often duplicate the image in photoshop .. so i have one edit and another edit .. and put them side by side and go backwards and forwards looking at them one after the other .. if that makes sense .. then after i've put it in dpc i'll see more things that need a tweak .. that sometimes happens many times ..

the thing is .. when i think about it . those tweaks probably make very little difference to the voters or anyone who views it .. as sometimes they are so subtle .. but it has to satisfy me .. that's when i'm invested in a pic i'm entering in a challenge .. i'm invested in very different degrees though .. some a lot .. and some very little ..

anyway .. this is stunning no matter what ...

and like i said .. i usually dont like saying what doesnt appeal to me when commenting on a photo .. because when it all boils down .. its only my opinion .. and you know what they say about opinions .. i wont spell it out here as it involves assholes .. please excuse the english .. :)

I loved this as soon as I saw it. Beautifully presented art. It was in my top picks, well done on the blue Erin.

Erin . this is a work of art .
so delicate and beautiful .. its the sort of image that would look wonderful on someone's wall .
maybe your own .
although you probably have so many wonderful pieces it would be difficult to choose ..
your home could become a gallery of your art ... pictures hanging on every wall .. busy busy busy .. which i doubt is your style .. lol ..
you are far more minimal .. well this image is at least .. and perfect ..
wonderfully imagined and wonderfully created ..

btw . although i dont like to give my opinion if its not glowing .. lol .. but i'm not a big fan of the white bird either .. in white or black .. apologies .. :(

Beautiful. The white cutout of the bird is oddly distracting me in this image. Although you need a bird in the shot. Maybe if it had been black?
