I have no idea how this photo will do. Personally, I like it.

This was lit from the left using a floor lamp from my living room.

Typical post-processing: crop, levels, cloned out a tiny blemish on the table, resize, unsharp mask.

Strong and intriguing conceptually. More attention to depth of field would be a plus here. the bottom of the check (unimportant) is sharper than the top of the check, and it hurts that the rightmost cookie is coming out of focus as well.

haha - interesting. maybe a rearrangement of the middle cookie (it seems to remove some attention away from the fortune) combined with slightly less DOF.

Always with the fortune cookie shots :p Not bad, broken being written has no relevance though, as the cookie is clearly the broken thing...

Ah! Should have used "Broke" instead of "Broken". Excellent take on the challenge. I think this fits within the spirit of the challenge theme. Technically without flaws and tastefully presented.
