| Josh, I think "photos of opportunity" should be given a little extra credit. It's not as if you could tell the bee to go back and pose again, right? It's nearly perfect, a wonderful picture to be proud of! |

Fits The Challenge-Yes.
Composition-Good
Background-Almost perfect, and it works with this shot just fine.
Digital Processing-Nice light and rich/wonderful/deep colors.
My Opinion-Just a bit out of focus, and the left and right sides are cropped a bit tight. Most of what I've mentioned sounds like nit picking and in a way it is. I'm not crazy for the soft focus in this particular shot and the way it's cropped.

| An interesting subject. I'm not sure that choosing to center the flower and the bee is the right choice here, despite the lines that lead to the center. Look how sharp the little fibres are on the step, but the bee, the center of attention, is slightly out of focus. I like the light levels at the bottom of the photo. |

| Awesome shot! Very detailed and very yellow! Focus seems very good. Framing - well, that's the closest thing to a nit I have for this one. I don't think cutting off the edges of the flower is a good thing. On the other hand, there is so much WOW in this shot, it has to be a 10!!! Swash |

| Very nice! I find the upper/lighter background distracting, I wish it were green foliage like the bottom portion. Also the crop is a little unconventional, on the sides you have cut off just the tips, maybe a bit of room on either side or cropped in more, it just seems to be in between :). |
