Thank you ALL for being so generous with your kind words and support.  Roz your link was so kind of you! I also found your observation that a 10 could be confused as a 1st place very interesting and hopefully the intention; however, it seems like it came from a participant (judging on the avg) and I would be surprised if a participant made that error. Possible I guess? Maybe eliminate the 1 and start the scale at 2? LOL

i kinda agree Jane .. unless it was a mistaken 10 .. which makes much more sense with a portrait like this .. :) |

so pleased this did so well for you even with those crazy low votes ..
this is a magic portrait that speaks of youth and something indefinable ..
like i said in voting he's a beautiful young man ..
many congrats on the blue and a stunning portrait and getting on your profile page ..
i gave you an 8 .. this was my second fav .. altho a close second to Alex's 'say my name' .. i think because of his lighting .. and the intensity .. :)

| Congrats, my second fav for the challenge. Like someone said, incredible discrepancy in scores between participants and non-participants. Very odd that non-participants were so much lower!!! |

I kinda thought this was one of the couple that would beat mine. Good looking young guy, super clean image, nice light and tones.
You ever think about doing portrait photography?

the quote .. interesting ..
my take .. i feel that most of humanity is lost .. has lost its way ..
if we are to find our way its through acts of kindness, service to others and being non-judgemental .. and more that i wont go into here .. ;)
this is an amazing portrait btw .. the tones are literally to die for .. and he's a beautiful young man .. i hope he's not shooting living creatures for sport .. we are their protectors .. :) |
