They had long shadows from all sides of the float. I got too close :-(

Conclusion: Cormorants do NOT like being buzzed... To be fair, I wasn't THAT close (22 feet above the water) but still... I felt bad. But not so bad as not to enter the glimpse I captured of them jumping ship...
