I love the camo pattern that this cicada was sporting. Blended right into the oak tree bark where I found it. Kept trying to tone down the details and softening it just made it look like a focus mistake coverup ... so, I tried a few filters and settled on this one. Probably a mixed vote, but I think it's kind of fun.
This would have been great for the 'You Name It!' challenge. :-) I had various titles like "Commando Cicada", "Nothing to see here ..." in mind as well.
