This one was fun, the only reason that house in the clouds is so bright, is a truck was doing doughnuts on the flipping Golf Course!! That was an interesting experience for the high blood pressure! I also entered the one with the blown out windows which I fixed and then promptly did not enter lol. It took me about 4 hours to edit this shot, which is way way too long. rgrenaderphoto gave me some hints and tip and just some lovely encouragement to get through editing this shot, which was really fabulous as I have found that Milky Way or night sky people are pretty tight lipped when it comes to giving advice and or help. So it gave me the ummpf to carry on. This a is a single shot of the MW and another of the light up area.
The House in the Clouds was built in the 1923 as a water tower by a very mad Scotts man, who had a fantasy about Peter Pan. So he built a whole village for his friends from London to come down and have a weekend away and all based on the book. There is even a lake with islands with Wendys house, the crocodile, the castle etc. All the houses are painted black and white. This was turned into a house as well, and is now for rent. My house is about 1/4 mile away.

CONGRATS on the blue for such an impactful image Juliete ..
you did an excellent job on the editing .. and four hours .. i can often take a day .. !! ..
backwards and forwards .. happy .. then not happy .. lol .. ;)
your sky shots are amazing btw .. i'm sure you will be one of those ppl who will give advice to ppl who struggle getting it right .. put me on the list of ppl you will help in the future .. xx
