I wanted to use the title Atlas Shrugged, as in the Ayn Rand book, but I just put something a little more normal. When I lied on the ground to take the pic. People were just passing by looking at me for a quick glance. If I wasn't in NYC, then I would have probably caught a beat down! |

Nicely framed. More detail on the statue would've been nicer. |

I like the idea here, but I wish the picture was more well-balanced. You're pointing a little too much to the left. |

I like the composition, angle, subject, and how it meets the challenge. |

This had a lot of potential to be one of my favorites if you could have focused mor on the statue and less on the building. Tall buildings are a dime a dozen but interesting sculptures are unique. Either way I like the photo..just wished for a slightley different perspective. |

good composition just over-cropped, good submission |

I love it. I predict this to win the challenge, a bit more detail on the statue instead of dark patches would be nice though. |

Was there any way of photographing this w/out a building in the background? Probably not, but worth asking. Like the idea by the way, but the statue is a little to dark in places. Use a flash or different time of day? |

This is nice! This is one of the best 'depth of field' shots I have seen in this challenge. Your focus is clean all the way to the top. Nice job! |

I like this! Very nice how you not only caught "up", but it is nicely framed with the sculpture. |

Nice composition. I can't quite determine if I like the cool tone to it or not -- I think I want the building to be a little warmer, but I don't think it's too possible given the site rules. |

I really liked this shot. |

Interesting concept. Are the shadows on the statue underexposed, or is it just my monitor? |

i really like the subject, especially with the building in the background, but i wonder if this could have been taken at a different time during the day to make the lighting more complimentary |

just a tad offcenter, really sweet idea and good example of from the ground up |

Interesting use of the statue for a frame, not sure I really want to be looking up there though... |

Nice shot. I like the exposure. I rated this very high. I think you are in contention for a ribbon. |

I've seen this so many times but your perspective kicks the crap out of the other compositions. |
