Congratulations, great photo.
For some reason I want to see her feet instead of her shoes.

I love the grainy texture in this shot and also the extreme darks and lights, it really sets the mood for the picture. You should feel very proud of yourself on this one, well done.

Nicely composed and modeled. I can feel the emotion that you are trying to portray. I like the grain in the shot. Too bad you are getting comments about how noisy it is. I don' t know why this is something that is voted down on around here. If done well it works nicely and this is a good example of it being done well.

I like the 'dirty' feel of this. Very magazine ad like. Excellent job.

great shot, but since i'm assuming that this is set-up, i would've preferred a different set of shoes and socks - they tend to detract from the solemn/grimey(?) theme that is going on here.

Grainy, makes me think more of beaten or abused rather than heartbroken. Good foto.

Returning for comments:
How sad. This is a universal experience which the human heart subjects itself because it chooses to love. A minor fault is the grain which detracts from the arms. However, the image is moving and the composition is to be admired. Bumping up.

This is the only image depicting heartbreak that really worked for me in the challenge. Extremely well done. The woman appears completely lost to us, and the tones and grain all contribute to sustaining that feel throughout the image.

One of very few "broken emotion" type themes that I like. This is done well - sepia and graininess adds to the effect. Only thing missing from the composition is an item that might indicate the source of her heartache. Not critical, though.

Moody, gritty, and moving. Artistically, message conveyed well. Good use of duotone. I like the raw, unprocessed look. Good entry that is within the spirit of the challenge theme.
