 This splendid creature has graced the pages of DPC before. Diana was also the model for this image, and this one! We just love working with each other.

I had previously worked with beautiful Diana, and knew she would make a perfect mermaid. But she was tired of her very #longhair and wanted to cut it. As I simply couldn't have a mermaid with a stylish bob cut, I asked if she would put off cutting it until I returned from a trip I had planned, after which we could schedule the shoot.

Well, that was the trip where I broke my back, and the mermaid shoot was put on hold indefinitely. I despaired. But Diana never lost hope, and never cut her beautiful blond hair in the 6 months it took me to recover, because she REALLY wanted to be my mermaid.

I finally got strong enough to do the shoot, but unfortunately, I shot the ocean portion outside the challenge dates. So the best I could do with her for a challenge was an outtake of the studio portion. You can see the finished composite on Insta.
