Great photo for the challenge. But even better photo for a number of advertisements. Let me elaborate...
hammers, nails, lotion or artheritis cream for the hand.. Awesome work! |

the hand looks like holding the hammer too long. it actually turning YELLOW. nice composition. |

A bit of yellow in the hand (on the knuckles) that looks a little off on this monitor, but, this is nicely done overall. |

Finally something interesting. Great balance in this shot. Perfect titile to describe to subject and the picture itself. |

well this fits the chalenge description right on:
Details: Photograph your interpretation of the color yellow. The color yellow must lead to the impact of the photo
the only nag I have is that for such a dynamic subject the photo seems to be very static. motion blur on the hammer/nail might be worth looking into |

HTe hammer head and handle blend into teh background, losing the impact you had envisioned. Sorry, had to be punny. A different color backdrop or backlight the hammer a bit (like a hair light) to help distinguish it from the backdrop. |

the yellow sure does stand out, but i feel like the handle is too dark. i can barely tell that the hand is holding onto something. |
