 I had some great insect shots for this challenge but went with this noisy miner just for something completely different ..!!.. ;)

the jacaranda flowered and the noisy miners were loving the flowers as they are honeyeaters .. i thought i had days to get a photo .. but we got extremely heavy rain and hail which knocked the flowers off the tree .. so i only got a couple of photos ..

Looks very painterly, The Jacaranda really pops.

Roz, I love this!! The crisp sharp bird juxtaposed with the gentle falling rain and soft flowers are just beautiful. You also pulled off a centered composition perfectly! I was one of your very high marks. Congratulations on your ribbon!
