Thanks for the comment Jim. Regarding the border - I considered going without but felt that the piece of bark on the edge just kind of "ran out" of the frame, so I put an edge on it. :-)

Cool. I hear what you're saying and appreciate the feedback for sure. I guess what I see with the border, in this case, is like a mat you'd put around a framed photo when framing. Wanted a bit more to offset the neutral grey used on the DPC background. It is a very selective choice to make and one used lightly - also knowing that a border does put some people off I did give the choice some consideration.

Point well taken but … see the size of the frame I’m typing in now? That’s all you need. I don’t know your software preferences but the Nik plug in suite has Color Effects Pro with image border selections- you can use the slider to make it as skinny as this. I guess I’m a nut about precious real estate that the image could use. FWIW.
