Sher, This is very eye-catching. The perspective works to lead my eyes throughout the image. I like how it curves up near the top. Very well composed.
The interplay of shadows and light keep it interesting and rythmic.
Adding the gaussian was a very good idea, that contributes to the overall textural effect.
I do wonder if leaving the rusty color in it would have been even better, but black and white works too.
Good job, and I look forward to more of your images.

| Great capture here, it truly meets the rhythm challenge. The crop is great. Somehow a little grainy though and personally I would have cropped out that dark bit on the bottom step. Otherwise a good photo! |
