 All in all I am quite disappointed that this image did so badly as I had high hopes for it and thought that most voters would be astute enough to see that the image contains more then just a physical reflection in water and in fact has two separate elements of reflection ... a spiritual reflection as in "reflecting upon" which is what is suggested by the lone figure strolling along the shore and then of course the physical reflection being the bright setting sun reflected in the water. Maybe my title "A Moment To Reflect" has made voters focus only on the man strolling at the waters edge reflecting upon life and has made them fail to see that there is also a large burning ball of a sun in the sky and that that burning ball of a sun is being reflected in the water quite dramatically. Unfortunate that most voters look only for colorful eye-candy type images and totally miss looking for mood and emotion in photographs. And if I have been down voted because there is technically something wrong with this photo then I would like that to be pointed out by the voters who voted 2's 3's and 4's because I cannot see why anyone would vote a 2 or a 3 or a 4 for this image unless they feel that there is technically something amiss with it.

I think it's a lovely image and I like the both kinds of "reflection" that your title brings in.

In another challenge topic, I think this would have scored much higher. It's just not as pretty of a reflection in water to view as others.

A different take on the challenge (and I'm sure some will consider it somewhat obtuse) - with some subtle physical reflections for those of a literal mind. I like the lead-in of the footsteps, used here to hint towards solitude and quiet personal reflection. The single figure, in a dress or gown, hints towards Buddhism. Overall, a well considered image.
