For the early readers after rollover ... I just read the comment that roz made and realized how confusing this image could be. I did hope that it would make people wonder. :-) The idea / concept is that he's (the Farmer) staring at a blank wall like he's lost or confused. Perhaps like losing his mind. Still somewhat dark and maybe not humorous? Would love to hear some other interpretations afterwards. :-)

I was really surprised that this witty take on American Gothic didn't score higher - I expected it to ribbon.

oh WOW ..
i sat here trying to work out the title .. combined with the photo ..
then i thought of something that is extremely dark .
he has buried her .. probably in a stack of hay .. trouble is he meant to go back and unbury her and bury her in a much better and safer place where she would never be found .
not sure if this is comedy .. but its certainly dark .. :)
