 An outtake from the January Freestudy. This actually connects with me more than the actual entry (which performed very well),

but I felt it would probably get slammed here. It tells more of a story and documents what I did that afternoon. I rode my bicycle here and was sitting on the edge of river with my feet hanging out over the water, enjoying the coffee I'd brought with me. (Coffee not pictured, but it was there.)

Underrated and overlooked (this coming from a 2nd look myself). Love the toning and the image is a fine story worthy of display.

its a shame that the voters can be so particular .. and dont see how a pic can totally satisfy the challenge even if there seems to be a major player that seems to take over ..
i loved this in voting .. and i love it now ..

oh .. i think I worded that wrong ..
what I meant was ..
you can still satisfy the challenge even when a major player seems to take over from the challenge subject .. :)

Love the perspective in this shot! Who hasn't taken a break sitting on the dock dangling one's feet over the edge - the activity is very relatable that one can easily put themselves in the picture. I like that this composition has the bridge reflected on the water's surface for it adds visual interest. It plays with the mind as to what is up and what is down. I do wonder what this looks like in color in that if the water reflects blue sky and white clouds that would compliment the mood of relaxation more so than B&W.
