 It had been mostly overcast most of the evening. My wife and I had gone to this location in hopes that at sunset there might be some light sneak under the cloud cover. I had my rig sat up waiting. It was almost as God was saying, "Wait..., wait..., wait, now watch this." This light only lasted about 4 minutes at the most.

This is stitched image made up of 70 individual shots, 1.56 gigapixels,(29,625 x 52705 pixels) forming an 8 x 14 ft. 300ppi wall mural.

This image is not a focus stacked shot. However I often do focus stacked wall murals I recently finished one that is a focus stacked image consisting of 1864 individual images to yield 120 focus stacked images in an 8 row x 16 column array resulting in a 12 ft. x 15-1/2 ft. wall mural. 2.5 Giga-pixels, 43,829 x 56,987 pixels, 146" x 190" 300 dpi My profile has my website url. It is in the Wall Murals group under Galleries tab titled Crystal Mill.

This photo has quickly became one of my all time favorites. It was recently featured in Landscape Photography Magazine Issue #126 Last Light Assignment.

There is a high resolution full screen virtual tour you can view on my website. As this site doesn't allow for posting url's search for Abbas Creations Photography.
