Vivid powerful colors in this image hold the viewer's attention. Love the deep deep blue of the textured ice. Perfect composition, color and DOF. Yes you need lots of blue to balance that punch of yellow. It almost feels like a marble rolling on broken glass because you think twice about the scale. I must say that the foreground ice bits really steal the show for me. Such a beautiful abstract pattern right in that portion of the frame. A well executed shot.

I like this a lot and would score it an 8 if the quality of the image were better. Great colours, composition and light. I love that reflection.

definately yellow. i love the yellow on blue. the reflection is nice, and the angle and framing/cropping are good as well. i think what I like most is the yellow on blue. focus and clarity are also very nice. great find. good luck in the challenge.

damn. i really really liked the thumbnail but the big image seems very low quality. maybe you had it on digital zoom or soemthing. the volors are good, its just so badly pixalized that its not pleasing to look at. 3

A really nice photo for me. We've seen yellow objects on black and on other dark backgrounds, but this is original and really captivating. The colors work so well together, too. I like the yellow object in the upper left of the photo; the ice below creates a nice base that supports the whole photo.

The pixelation and graininess of the shot is the only bad thing about it.

grainy and the subject is too small

nice image, a little pixelated

Don't want to nit-pic, but.....since it does have writing on it, I personally think the writing should have been turned toward the camera so it could be read, or turned away so no one would know there was any writing. Other than this I really love this photo. The blue is so beautiful, and the whitish ice is so neat floating on top of the water. Really nice one.

A bit too grainy. Nice contrast of colours.

The contrast and composition work well. It just looks grainy.

Unfortunately this image is a little grainy and pixelated. I suspect you were a long way away and either used digital zoom or cropped heavily. Also, being able to see writing on the ball but not read it is a little frustrating. I do like the combination of blue and yellow though - they sit together so well.
