I think this could have used a run through neat image to clean up the noise in the sky, but other than that, lovely crisp shot. Great use of yellow without overwhelming us with it. 8. Good luck. |

What a beautiful and elegant shot. Simple is great. isn't it? I think small amount of yellow can make itself dominant, too. if you can make yellow brighter, it would be real dominant. Good job! |

Very nice... and different. In most animal photos we are drawn immediately to the eye - so it's perfect here that the eye is the yellow. |

Et tu, brutae? Then fall Caesar.
Very nice, I like it. One of the best shots to not come at you with so much yellow you feel like you're in france. |

Great entry for Yellow...You are automatically pulled into his eyes and as the details of the contest state, "The color yellow must lead to the impact of the photo." Nicely composed too.

Not much yellow in relation to the area of the photo, but it stands out enough to make the yellow eye and band the focal point. Well done. |

What a great lens. Nice angle too. The basic editing rules prevent singling out the sky for noise reduction, and the sharpening artifacts are just slightly noticible on the upper bill. From the point of view of yellow, I like the light yellow of the the eye and the dark yellow of the band between the eyes. Was he in the alert position, almost completely vertical, that Egrets take when disturbed? A 10. |

nice contrast. the yellow definitely provides the impact. i hope most people get that.
a little halo-ing around the beak from sharpening, but otherwise perfectly processed.
nice shot. |

Beautiful shot, but the colour yellow doesn't quite lead to the impact of the photo as stated in the challenge. |

the yellow doesn't have the impact it should. the white is the dominant color |

I really see white not yellow for this one. It is a good picture of the bird though. |

Not really enough yellow. Good shot, a little over-sharpened on the underside of the bill. |
