The Brood X Cicadas are here in abundance and there is infinite photographic opportunities. Their appearance has been very fortuitous for me as I recover from shoulder surgery. I am unable to hold up a camera so the use of a tripod is imperative. The cicadas move slowly enough that it allows me time to set up. It has also kept me entertained as even flossing my teeth has been a challenge!
