| This is a very cool macro. Fantastic dof. You have enough of the ant and flower in focus to give meaning to the shot, but the selective focus in combination with the vivd colours gives this a whimsical effect. Almost tells a story. Terrific work. 10. |

| Nice photo, the macro is a bit too close, maybe it would have been nicer to open it up a bit, use a higher apeture and get a bit more DOF. Also, the focus seems to be the bug, not the yellow. |

| My personal preference would be to see this without the ant, but a good picture none the less. |

Low depth of field leaves too much nebulous for my tastes. I do like the lighting. A 6.
