 Haha! This was taken at a beautiful Airbnb where my hubby and I stayed in Port Angeles, Washington. There was a small apple grove in the front yard protected by an electric fence with signs everywhere warning us of its dangers. During our time there, we learned of two groundskeepers that weren't careful enough and got shocked, but this little one and its mommy managed to wiggle in and out of that dangerous electric fence twice a day, every day we were there. For them it was as easy as if there had been an open gate. Course we loved our smart little visitors and we were happy that they had such great treats.

By the way... those apples!!! OMG! Washington Envy Apples! Best apples I had ever eaten! They're so hard, crisp, and sweet! I picked some every morning for breakfast. It was cold at night, so it was like they were perfectly refrigerated! Ever since our trip, I ALWAYS have Envy Apples in my fridge!

they sell envy apples here in australia .. i've only bought them from the supermarket and i wasnt impressed by the taste .. i'm absolutely sure that straight off the tree would be a very different story ..

its interesting how this image changed for me the more i was able to step out of the accepted and expected .. and got more into the actual reality ..

and i did think of you when i saw it ..
once again .. an animal totally connecting with you the photographer .. that's one of your amazing gifts Sandy ..
its a beautiful image .. and btw .. i gave you an 8 .. :) .. xx

gosh .. without the electric fence this would have been the most stunning photo ..
i'm a bit biased against electric fences .. i have one around my house and many times its got in the way of a really good photo ..

so now i'll look past my aversion and see this unhindered ..

it really is rather awesome .!!!. you have the apples .. and you have that gorgeous little face looking straight at you .. i'm now thinking the electric fence adds rather than detracts ..
great how a bit of consideration can change a person's mind .. !! .. :)
