 This Iris from our front garden blooms in April and December. It just opened yesterday. I took a picture of it this afternoon before I knew of the challenge. I used curves on the raw in C1-LE to get the rich contrast and then in PS I rotated and cropped then used neat image to clean up the background and sharpen it a little.

Hi
I have been reading comments on the photos in this challenge. I voted for your iris with a 7. If a person reads all the comments, you can see how different people evaluate. I thought the flower was fresh and very colorful. I have seen a lot of iris' and this one looks pretty lively to me.
