Somehow I think you missed the topic of the challenge, but still captured a striking photo. |

Not exactly the "typical" landmark so it will get voted down by some, but still a superb entry. You found the perfect lighting and the composed a wondeful composition to take advantage of it. Everything works! I hope the narrow minded voters see the talent it took to produce this classic. |

Beautiful shot, but does not quite make the challenge for me. |

I hope you tell us what it is that is buried by the first tree on the right. |

Great lighting, stunning color. Like the lines in this photograph, leading into infinity. |

Great colors and hues. The relevance of the title escapes me though. Overall a wonderfully picturesque composition.
Edit: Bumping up. |

I don't care for the relationship to the topic. Bordering the line there. The image is nice but not spectacular. |

I like the color range, but the left sky looks strange. Nice composition with the one tree standing apart (or so it seems). |

refreshing to see something other than statues and buildings, anyway. Great light, good time of day for it. The clouds are good, but could be more striking, and I think the top right area's brightness ditracts the attention from the progression of road and that tree - and compositionally your lines take the eye to it more stongly than the tree. Good work though. |

So simple yet so NICE!!. Its great to see a shot like this without power lines in the shot, I have a million shots like this around my town but there are lines everywhere that ruin the shot. GREAT color and composition. 8 |

incredible range of colors. love your treatment of the clouds (or should i say non-treatment? they don't look overly burned or dodged. i mean, i don't have this most critical eye, but those clouds don't even look like you touched them up at all!).
i also appreciate your take on the challenge. i hope you don't hammered for not shooting a building or statue, because this is really an exquisite image. great timing, great job! good luck! |

Very nice shot, but a bit of a stretch for a landmark. I love the color and shadows on the yellow field, and the sky is pretty much perfect. |

I really love the colors and composition of this shot. I'm not seeing a strong connection to landmark, mainly because there are a number of trees here and it doesn't really stand out. Still, as a photo, I like it a lot. |

This is a gorgeous scene, well captured... but considering all those trees are the same I wouldn't really say that any of them is a landmark - seems like a stretch to meet the challenge... Oh well, its a great shot so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt :). |
