 Visited WETA Workshop last March. This is a set from their production 'Thunderbirds Are Go!' Obviously, it's a model.

WETA visit was a highlight of the trip.

This is a miniature set for a SciFi show done by the New Zealand Weta Studios. I climbed up on a ladder near the set and shot it with my iPhone. The whole set was about 8 feet across as I remember. This is only a part of it.

btw, if you ever in Welligton, make it a point to visit Weta Workshop and Weta Studios. SO Cool!

Ok, that's cool. Looking forward to a description from you about this. Loved that show and always thought they could have done so much more with the concept. I like to think that Moonbase Alpha evolved from the moonbase in the previous Gerry Anderson series, UFO.
