Superb composition of a great placement of whaet and flower. The white background and high-key effect works well. Your choice of focal point and DoF creates a very artistic, painterly feel. The subtle border is also very effective ( I really dislike overdone borders). Bottom line: Ribbon or very close! |

Good DOF. You were brave to try a white background with a yellow subject and it worked out! Wish it was sharper and had a higher contrast. I think that's because the white background. IMO the border is not the best choice. I think black would have framed better. Good luck! 6 |

Cool photo, this could have used some hue & saturation adjustment to help tone down the orange and bring out the yellow. |

Wow, this is an amazing photograph. Very well done. I like that the barley in the background is that blurry (it's barley, isn't it?). :-) But I don't like the frame. 9 |

Stunning monochormatic image. Great composition. My only criticism is that I think the entire image would transcend to the highest level is it were all in crisp and tight focus. Given your careful composition, I am fairly certain that the soft focus on the wheat was a choice, not an accident. My desire to have it all in focus is really a matter of taste, and, given the initial impact of this stunning image, probably a bit petty. Nice shot. High impact image. |
