 I seem to frequently get off track and miss months of challenges at a time. The fear of not doing well mixed with too many hobbies and I fail to enter as many challenges as I think I should. Today we were trying to correct this.

As I reviewed the current challenges I thought I would try my hand at the Minimalism V challenge. In my mind I would have a duck swimming directly away from me, leaving a V in the water. I thought the leading lines would help add to the photo and a single duck seemed minimal to me. But the ducks just would not cooperate tonight. I didn't want to come back empty handed so I stayed focused on the water fowl and took what I could.

The B/W processing was my original plan so I decided to stick with it even though I didn't get the shot I was hoping form. Running low on time tonight I stuck with one of the standard Lightroom presets. One of these days I need to look at some of the specialty B/W filters/programs available.

Yes, ducks can be so uncooperative but your image is really beautiful.
