Challenge: Celebrating the Vision of Grahamgator (Standard Editing)

This was hard to do. Main challenges were:
1) composition, no too much, not too little, arranged in a balanced way
2) focus, again not too much, not too little, background enough out of focus
3) light balance, some color in the background, nice colors in the subject, without looking flat, enough shadows and depth
In the end I managed to achieve what I wanted with minimum post processing, but in order to get closer to Mary Ann's style I added an analog camera effect to the image (with analog effex pro 2 from the Nik collection), because the original image was a bit too clean. Maybe it is still too bright and saturated, but I like it anyway.
Setup: Natural light from a window on the right, black cloth to the left to prevent reflection, background approx. 1.5 m away and shielded from direct light coming from the window.

| Forgot to comment on this one, but I feel it should of been in the top five. Beautiful lighting and well composed image with all the items Mary Ann would use I feel. |

| reading your comment on how you did this I can only say: I fully understand what you're meaning. It was harder to emulate Mary Ann's Style than expected. |
