Luminous, spectacular image. Seemingly lop-sided but, it appears to me, handsomely, daringly balanced left and right. The bright city casts its glowing shadow on the water, sending emissary colors into the night. The parabolic arc of the water is a fascinating compositional element, about which the scene unfolds. The person in the water, in a pose that clicks, is the emotional lighthouse. Perhaps he's empowering the city, unbeknownst to a sleeping citizenry. The out of focus waves are an ingenious framing device. More than satisfying.
