Glad to see you back! I was back to explore this one several times and somehow never left a comment. Maybe I should have hung out longer. |

Nice attention to composition, a persuasive flow. Ascendant. |

Marj, thanks for talking Marla ( 2mccs) and I into entering this challenge, even though it was at the last minute. This is the most streetpigeony entry of the 3 of us. Great job! |

Wow Marj! Great job especially considering Steve gave you only a few hours notice to find an entry. Including the paw prints was brilliant. Nice title. I think this could be a streetpigeon (if it weren̢۪t yours that is). Not voting on yours of course. |

I really enjoy images that are more glancing hint than statement. Here we have to work out what's going on, even play detective. It took awhile to see the person and dog in the distance walking up the stairs. Understated and evanescent. It's a compact, dynamic composition. The shadows are like red herrings messing with our perception, abetting confusion and misdirection. What tickles me most is that in addition to spacial depth, which is aparent, is depth in time. From the paw prints to the walkers is a fullness, a span of time made palpable. Now the image comes alive, breathing. A marvelous and satisfying achievement.
Thank you. |

how little we think of the consequences of our actions, the marks we leave behind, but one day that is all that will be left of us. And look, we're almost gone already. |
