It's the perfect time of day to reflect. Wonderful glow. |

It's just that twist imparted by your lens, undigitizng the rectilinear scene, that moves us into a new appreciation of our world. Slight and kind of subtle, yet powerful. And you've found a section of the urban forest that's varied in color and form. What I find most fascinating is the framing. It's so unusual, curved in such a fashion, balcony and upper clouds, that we seem to be looking out of an eye. It makes the image compellingly personal for us, psychologically involving. It shifts our entire relationship to the photograph. Nice title.
Thank you. |

a quick dizzy look at the city. we never really get a good look at our home. we're always too busy to notice it. instead of capturing a view that we normally would miss, this photo instead captures the blur of living and not noticing. |
