a messy shot, like so much of our experience. no time to compose things properly. no time to separate the colors from the whites. just a glimpse of a moment.

A street scene with a surprise appearance by Fred Flintstone! Oh wait, it's a construction vehicle trying to pass as traffic, which is worthy of a double-take. And the driver is taking it side saddle, a la Lady Godiva. This all jumps up the moment, kicks it into a strangeness that's abetted by a lovely toned sky, a beautiful sky. That's what secures the image for me. I also like the out of focus ambiguity of the left hand framing. Makes one wonder, curious and unsure.
