I like this subject. Works well in b&w. I think this could use a bit more contrast. Would also suggest a bit more interesting angle or crop for the shot. |

Good subject. I am starting to think black & white is detrimental to this challenge because it ages the photo with the subject and removes part of that old/new contrast feeling. Speaking of contrast... coulda used a little more I think. I also would not have cropped that close to the top of the carriage. Seems like a good rule for this type of shot would be to crop as if someone was sitting in the seat. Lastly, I would've removed the rock(?). Hope this helps. :-) |

Definitely low tech transport. Your choice of a bleaching in b/w has a positive effect on aging the image even more. It is well placed and cropped, perhaps slightly too much on the top, but this is not detracting in any way. Nice job! |

Good subject. A bit more contrast might have lifted the focal point away from the background, but overall a good shot. |

This needs something to separate it from the background. More contrast, DOF, different angle, color - I'm not sure what the solution is. As for the concept of low tech, it certainly fits. 5 |

The wagon really blends in too much with the background |

Great shot...a slightly darker version may provide greater depth and contrast. |

I like the feel of the photo, although I may like to see it from a different angl. and maybe from further back. |

Great idea. More contrast would have helped here. |

I think a sepia would have looked better with this subject. The composition is a bit tight and centered. I would suggest approaching this subject in an artistic manner, rather than taking a photo which documents the fact that its sitting there :) |

Nice view and interesting object. You might consider deepening your tones slightly. Try sliding the middle slider to the right just a tad in Levels. Very nice, evocative image. 8 |

No power at all!
A bit more contrast would help the subject stand out. Use levels adjustment to make the whites brighter, and the dark grays blacker. |
