 This was quite a challenge for me as when I do my light painting I prefer to shoot lots of exposures and light just one element at a time then layer them all in photoshop.

This time I decided to try a single exposure so I didn't fall foul of the Standard Editing rules (again). Lights out and armed with 2 torches and my phone screen I painted the scene during a 40 second exposure.

I do prefer the version I got using my normal (many exposure) method as the light is softer and I have more detail.

Whilst a hobby of mine, my oil painting skills don't (yet) warrant framing so I may have stretched things a little.

Anybody that mentions it's oil in the framed image gets a virtual drink from me.
