| My entry (also a yellow flower) was originally gonna be similar to this, but my P&S camera couldn't stop down far enough to get the shallow DOF. Very nice photo. Can't wait to see what lens you used. |

| Refreshing composition, and good focus on the center. I would prefer more focus on the petals - but that's me. Flaring in the bottom center is distracting. |

| wow another cool flower shot. Perfect in composition and in macro shot. I like DOF and it blurs out in the pedal. Well done. Good luck. |

| I really like the DOF here, very nice, and the exposure seems perfect. The slight over-exposure gives it an extra sunny warm feel. 9 |

| Great focus & detail and the light makes the petals glow nicely. I think I would have liked it even tighter to lose the background completely, or maybe a black background but it's still a great shot. Well done. |

| Too blurry, the focus should be on the pedals not the middle part. I would have cropped closer also leaving no purple part on the right and used more light. |

| i like this ,great photo ,i personally would have used "neat image" program to remove the noise in the top right |

| Great work - very yellow, lot's of texture and a nice focal point. It looks like you had a light source behind the flower - which really helps to make the petals glow. Good luck - I think you'll do well. |
