 actually it's the other way around to what I'm suggesting in my title ..
he has to look into my eyes and do anything I ask ..!!..
when training a dog it's all about engaging with them .. getting them to want to do what you ask .. being consistent .. using rewards .. whether that's food treats .. praise .. playing with a toy .. whatever your dog really likes .. and speaking their language ..
timing is crucial when rewarding them too ..
Toddy is pretty good considering I'm not full-on with training ..
but as a breed the mini foxies are known to be very smart and to pick things up very quickly ..
toddy is very much true to his breed ..!!.. ;)
