 Just one shot at this as the ingredients were needed for, well, Pesto! If I had more time I'd have reshot further back from the scene for more space, without the nutmeg grinder thingy and put the pestle that matches the mortar in the scene!

Oh, I've now added crushing garlic in the spare bedroom then leaving said crusher in the room for 24 hours to my list of 'things best not to do again if you know whats good for you'

nice still life, the tossed pine nuts are a distraction to me and think it would have been stronger without and also feel a background other than just black (a kitchen counter or brown texture) would have elevated this image
