Ollie the Basset Hound.

He may be getting old but he makes us laugh every day!!

He does this little dance when we come home, knows when it is Sunday (we walk him in the woods), and he can feel our moods. We love him and he loves us. (yes, he does sleep alot, but say the words 'walk', 'supper' or 'cookie' and he comes ALIVE)

This was my favorite - very natural, and the colors are great! I prefer a more a more spontaneous shot like this over something staged.
REally thought this would bring a ribbon.

I gotta say, I love dog shots. The colors are perfect, and the dog is so crisp, except the tongue, which shows moement, so it does work. Great framing. Nice shot.

This reminds me of the times I fed my dog peanutbutter.

A difficult capture to get. The tree in the background looks like it's growing out of his head although unless you have trained him/her to lick like that I cant see how you're going to have much choice on the background for a shot like this. Lighting looks ok, a catchlight in the eye, some movement on the tongue but that adds to the whole scenario.
