 I'm very happy and surprised this did so well. I've entered this tree in the past with limited success and almost didn't enter this shot. Conditions weren't the greatest either. Got rained on the entire morning so the clouds were obscuring the sunrise, also got a bit muddy walking through the field. But the part that really disappointed me was the tide wasn't high enough. The best time would be when the water level covers the sand and rocks surrounding the tree, no such luck. When I got home I checked the tide calendar and there are only two times in the year when there's an extreme high tide on a weekend morning, next time being December so you might see this again at the end of the year.
