But reading and looking more at woodburytype images, I realized that I was missing the important details. And of course I jumped at the opportunity when Sarah offered to bring her wedding dress to work! :-)

You did your research!! Taking a portrait in those days was a big thing. People made sure they looked their best, dressing for the occasion. Your submission totally shows that and the execution was just perfect in my view.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful lady and beautiful image. Great serene atmosphere. I love the soft mid tones and how the skin tones and the background match, while you also kept all the detail in both the black hair and the white dress. I now rated and commented the full challenge and for me this is the winner.
