 this is on the firetrail where i walk ..
the burned trees etc is from the backburning the rural fire service has done in the hopes that it will stop the green wattle fire from coming thru ..
i write this on friday 27 December .. tomorrow high temps and winds from the west .. not good .. also on this coming tuesday .. new years eve .. they are predicting extremely high temps and high winds .. another day of catastrophic fire conditions ..
hopefully when this rolls over i will still have a house ..

and meet Tod .. affectionately know as Toddy ..
he is 10 weeks old .. there were too many difficulties in me getting a dog .. but life sometimes turns out differently to what you plan ..
we are now an item .. ;)

oh .. been in voting for 2 hours .. and I just noticed it was an extended edit ..!!..
i assumed it was a standard edit .. silly me .. that's pretty funny .. ;)

was a rushed last minute entry that I shot this morning especially for this challenge ..

anyway .. there's nothing extended about this .. not even cropped ..

Missed to look and therefore vote on this challenge but this is IT - extended or minimal!
In spite of the real drama, this is such a calm and hopeful picture.
