 My mom waiting for her cardiac cath. I can't believe she let me take her picture. I think anything that was distracting from all the anxiety was a welcome relief for both of us. I lost my dad in April, and the thought of possibly losing my mom in the same year had both of us a bit frazzled. The waiting was far worse than the actual procedure.

I like the empty wall above and the open space to the left. Unconventional but compelling in this instance. The image makes me think "Alzheimer's" FWIW. Excellent work.
