This is a very intriguing image. It finished much higher in my ranking.

I actually thought it turned out too contrasty, and wanted the leaf to merge with the background seamlessly, but as I was editing it on the phone, I had no way to judge.

p.s. no texture layer was harmed (or used) in this image.

This is an interesting idea and I love the textures. However, to pull this off, I feel you need a bit more contrast between the leaf and the background.
