Too bad you couldn't get a different angle on this, because the background almost hides the birds. It took a couple of seconds before I could see them. Or maybe a more shallow DOF would have blurred the background some, and the birds would have been more prominent. |

A bigger aperture would create less depth that would help seperating the birds from the buildings. |

i don't feel that the birds are the focal point and they tend to blend into the background. |

there's too much below the pigeons. Cropping about half of the blue&yellow stripes would;ve made this much better. only a 7 though. |

A shallower dof would have helped this photo in my opinion. With the buildings in the background being so clear, my eyes are drifting towards them and away from your subjects. |

This feels a bit over exposed to me. We've lost the sky, and the birds are lost to the background. I wonder if darkening it slightly and boosting the contrast would help? |
