It's a neat photo. I find the shadows and reflections on the wall to be distraction however. I think there are 7, but one is kind of hidden and not really clear to see. I like the color, I like how the balls match the stem. The glass is nice and I like the splashes. your glass is tilted slightly to the left, which is bothersome for me. overall neat image for the challenge....just needs some cleaning up. ~Heather~

The back drop could be moved further back to avoid the shadow, which I believe detracts rather than adds to the picture. The effect of the water splashing is diminiished by the water clinging to the sides of the glass.. I do like the blue stem with the blue balls. The lighting could be improved considerably. Look at sites dealing with product marketing photography for ideas.

I think the cropping is not correct. eccept that; it is good image.

Glass is too close to the background - bad shadow

It looks interesting but you should have used different light source... natural or spot light not flash.

nice photo. the shadow of the glass is distracting. perhaps a white background far enough a way to prevent the shadow would enhance the impact

only thing I don't like this, and I feel is going to keep this image from a 10 is the lack of color, use a different background or food coloring in the water and this would have been a 10 for sure

Love the shot, nice clarity. I will only point out two little things: top right you have some specks of dirt/dust that's showing up and also the glass needs to be tilted a little clockwise to straighten the rim. Excellent overall.

The glass is too close from the background, the shadow is quite distracting. Should have been done with no flash, more diffused light and longer shutter sp... Oh yeah... That would screw up the water splash... Yeah, okay... Just too close from the background! It still a nice picture, maybe not a 10 but...

fun shot, but you should try to set up a background farther away from your subject to avoid distracting shadows. also it looks like you were lighting this primarily with your on camera flash, causing hot spots in the center of the image,.
