 Went to the local sports field this morning to see if there were any games going on.

I paid to get into the gate... Handed him my $5 for an adult and he gave me back a dollar. I said, I thought it was $5...? " He said, I gave you the Grandparent discount."

I have no grandchildren... but... why else would an old, gray-haired woman want to go in there to watch little kids have a great time? Ha!


I had a great time! I met another photog... chatted a bit. I invited him here... and then it was so hot, I left. Hoping I'd gotten something decent.

But, even if I hadn't, I had such fun remembering how often we went to our four "children's" games on a Saturday over the years.

I love this shot. I also visited our local ball fields (no charge) and enjoyed reminiscing about out kids playing there. Nicely done.

Oh that is so CUTE, Lydia! Little League baseball is such a HUGE part of our family’s life, but alas, it has ended in Texas, so I’m happy to see this top of the heap here! Congratulations!!
